Senior Communications Officer

I have worked at Redwings since 2017 but I’ve been a Redwings supporter for much longer - my mum adopted Redwings Adoption Star Rocky for me for my fifth birthday!

My role sits within the Communications team and is really varied, and I love that! Amongst other things I organise Redwings’ events such as the Redwings Show (in its physical and online form!) and coordinate our stands at national shows such as Your Horse Live - meaning I get to meet Redwings supporters old and new from across the country.

I also help to create content for our website and social media so we can share the stories of our wonderful residents and the fantastic work of our vet, behaviour and rehoming teams as they transform their lives from their rescue to the happy and healthy horses and donkeys at Redwings or in Guardian homes.

Redwings resident soft spot: I’m too much of a softie and love them all! However, if I had to pick one it would be Iris the donkey at Redwings Aylsham. She is such a friendly and cheeky lady – and always so keen to ‘help’ me with my photography and get as close to the camera as possible!
