Mountains animal sanctuaryA black jenny whom we've named Annie

We had a donkey foal born 28th March morning, a black jenny whom we've named Annie, mother and baby are well. Petra the Mum was one of the donkeys we rescued last year and was in foal when she arrived.

Horse Looking for a home

Mystique has now found a new home, thanks for all the enquiries" We have lots more equines looking for homes so please visit our re-homing page for further information.

Mystique is a 15 year old, 12hh, Welsh Section. A pony who is looking for a special home where she can be a companion to another horse or pony. She hasn’t had an easy life and can be very shy, especially with strangers but with a familiar handler in a one to one situation she is a very sweet pony. Once she is used to a situation her typical welsh pony attitude appears and she does need a fair, firm hand at times. She arrived at the sanctuary with her friend after being abandoned at a riding school and we are unsure of her history prior to this. She is good for the farrier, vet and general handling but can be difficult to catch in unfamiliar situations. Mystique is desperate for that special home where she can be given the attention and love she deserves.

We are looking for an experienced, sympathetic home who will continue her rehabilitation. Mystique can winter in or out, is a very good doer and does need restricted grazing during spring/summer but has never suffered from laminitis. If you are interested please go to our website and fill out an application form, stating on it that you are interested in Mystique. If she proves not be suitable for you we have many other ponies and horses looking for a home.
