Scotland's Largest Equine Sanctuary

Our purpose is to provide a haven for horses, ponies and donkeys. Many of the animals have been rescued from cruelty or neglect or ignorance. We provide food, shelter, medical treatment and loving care.

The Sanctuary relies solely on public donations and receives no government funding. Donations are an essential life line and we are extremely grateful to the public for their continued help and support.

We also provide a home for equines that require long term care and medical treatment, which may otherwise not be available to them.

Visitors Centre

Our Visitor Centre, which opened in spring 2004, has a Gift/Charity Shop and offers a welcome cup of tea or coffee. You also have the opportunity to buy a M.A.S. sweatshirt or t-shirt. We have key rings, rulers, and magnets available with photos of the adoption ponies on them. Christmas cards are available to buy all year round and we have all been excited this year by our very first card which depicts our own horses, ponies and donkeys.

We can accommodate group visits - if you would like to arrange one, please contact us. Guided tours are available and entry is by donation.
